SW20 Outer Tie Rods---The bumpsteer Solution!

These Outer Tie Rods are our final bit to attack bumpsteer on the SW20 front suspension.
Combined with our bumpsteer spacers, these outer tie rods will greatly improve the handling and all but eliminate the horrible bumpsteer on the SW20. My personal SW20 runs 245's on the front and uses a manual rack, so bumpsteer has always been a real pain. Now the car behaves like it should!
These outer tie rods are made from solid steel stock and use a 5/8" teflon lined 3 piece rod end. They are right an left hand threaded for easy adjustment on the car.
They come with an assortment of bumpsteer steering knuckles spacers in various sizes
All components are plated or stainless for corossion resistance
We've never been huge fan of using a tapered bolt in tandem with a bump steer spacer. The added stress can cause the tapered bolt to snap at the most inoportune times. On all our Outer Tie Rod setups, we use a straight shank 5/8" bolt that is much larger than the factory 12mm tapered bolt and provides much greater strength. This requires drilling out the factory steering knuckle to the 5/8" bore, but can easily be done on the car, and we provide a 5/8" drill with this kit for ease of installation.
Price is $130 per pair with all hardware.
